My daughter and I visited Praia do Forte Eco Resort in Bahia in 2005, to recover from our trip to the Amazon.  Though we stayed in slightly more budget accommodation than that shown in the photograph above from their brochure, we still had a hammock on our balcony!  We visited the local village and the Tamar Turtle Conservation project and enjoyed watching the iguanas roaming around the hotel gardens.
